Short Sales & Foreclosures

I believe that  in almost all cases the best person for a homeowner in distress to speak with is a well informed Licensed Realtor® that has the tools needed to assist and prepare that homeowner to find the best solution for their situation.

As a CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), I have been trained on the proper protocol as well as the pitfalls and how to avoid them when working with Short Sales, Pre-Foreclosures, REO’s and Foreclosed property.

The most common myth is that a Short Sale and a Foreclosure/Bank Owned Property is the same thing.  THEY ARE NOT!!  Short Sales have a different impact on you as the Homeowner than a Foreclosure/Bank Owned property does.

It is vital to work with someone with specialized training. When you don’t, the risk of foreclosure is greater. This could explain why the majority of short sales are not accepted or take so long to close and buyers lose interest.Homeowners who are in the pre-foreclosure process should speak with a trained expert as quickly as possible. For many homeowners, foreclosure is not the only option.  However most do not get the opportunity to explore solutions. By dealing with an agent who has earned the Certified Distressed Property Expert Designation (CDPE) designation, homeowners ensure that they are working with a real estate professional that is equipped to handle their specific needs.

Foreclosure is a devastating financial and emotional process for a homeowner to go through, and in many cases they do so alone and without help of any kind.  It is my goal as a Certified Distressed Property Expert to provide homeowners the expert guidance they need and deserve to avoid foreclosure and move forward with their lives.  Please give me a call…..don’t delay….. help is possible!
